- Endra has decided to invest in and build the Nesse Solar Power Plant in Sveio Municipality and has simultaneously entered into a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with REMA 1000. The project will become Norway’s first Agri-PV solar power plant, where renewable energy production is combined with active agricultural operations.The Nesse Solar Power Plant will have an installed capacity of up to 10.8 MWp and an expected annual production of just under 10 GWh, corresponding to the electricity consumption of approximately 650 households. The power plant is designed for a lifetime of at least 40 years and will provide stable, local, and renewable electricity to the region for decades to come. The investment decision for the Nesse Solar Power Plant is an important milestone for Endra. The project combines what we believe the future of solar power development should be: dual land use, local value creation, and long-term industrial partnerships. The fact that REMA 1000 has once again chosen Endra as its partner is a strong endorsement of this model, says Kristian Gautesen, CEO of Endra.
